Who We Are

The Skittleworms are a team of 7th grade students from Bedford, Massachusetts. We have been involved in DI together for 6 years. We are a group of clever, funny, athletic, kind, creative kids who really enjoy spending time together.

What is Destination Imagination?

Destination Imagination (DI) is a worldwide STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) project and team based competition for kindergarten through university aged kids. Teams of two to seven kids solve challenges without outside ideas, input or assistance. Kids learn about teamwork, problem solving, creative and critical thinking, project management, perseverance, theater arts, specialty topics, as well as technical skills (from electronics, woodworking, computer programing, fine arts techniques).

Technical Expert

Favorite DI Moment: When Hayden and I spent all day trying to make a table in 6th grade.

Chatting with friends, learning history, cleaning my room.

Hopes for Kansas City:
I hope to pin trade and to try to make new friends.

CEO and Secretary

Favorite DI Moment:
Aside from any moment from our Global Finals trip in 5th grade, when our team had a party drawing neurons on our enourmous head.

Music, reading, following Eurovision and appreciating IKEA, modern infrastructure, glass domes, nice color schemes and fonts, etc.

Hopes for Kansas City:
To have a lot of fun, not stress about the competition, and have that wonderful feeling of being surrounded by DI Kids once again.

Musical Director

Favorite DI Moment:
Global finals playing the PVC pipe instrument

Baseball, running, reading, and music

Hopes for Kansas City:
Winning! (And seeing other performances and getting better pins)
